Vino Santo Bistro is a small italian restaurant located in downtown Redwood City owned by Mr. Ocegueda. This is by far my most favorite italian place in the bay area. It reminds me of the italian restaurant back home called "RED TOMATO" where my bestfriend and I go to, to chat and eat our favorite Spaghetti Arabiatta.
I have dined here at Vino Santo Bistro 4 times and had never been disappointed. I highly recommend the tortellini carbonara and the Linguini Con Gamberi. The tortellini carbonara just melts in your mouth. It has that soft, cheesy flavour every time and I just let it melt in there and enjoy that texture. This is probably the only food that I eat in slow motion haha. The bruschetta, bread with diced tomatoes, basil and olive oil always pairs well with any pasta dishes. So make sure not to skip that out. The service is impeccable, the price is average. If you're dining for 2, I would say $50-$60. If you would like to take someone special out to dinner, then Vino Santo Bistro is the perfect place to go. The lights are dim which makes the place romantic, beautiful atmosphere and you can take a stroll outside, where it is safe, clean and love is in the air.
